Kevin Mochengo, MD

Dr. Kevin Mochengo is a physician with a strong interest in Family Medicine, preventive health, and equitable access to care. A graduate of the University of Nairobi in Nairobi, Kenya, Dr. Mochengo was drawn to Family Medicine because of its broad perspective on health and its emphasis on caring for people throughout the different chapters of their lives.

Growing up in Kenya and becoming a first-generation physician shaped Dr. Mochengo’s understanding of the profound impact that access to healthcare can have on individuals, families, and communities. Those experiences strengthened his desire to pursue a career centered on service, health equity, and building meaningful relationships with patients.

For Dr. Mochengo, medicine is about more than diagnosing and treating disease. It is about getting to know the person behind the symptoms, understanding the circumstances that influence their health, and partnering with patients to make decisions that work for their lives.

What draws Dr. Mochengo most to Family Medicine is the privilege of being present beyond a single illness or encounter; to help patients stay well, navigate challenges, and build healthier lives over time.

Outside medicine, Dr. Mochengo enjoys cycling, which provides an opportunity to stay active, explore new places, and recharge.
