  • Safe Care Procedures

CHI has been putting patient care first for nearly 50 years. Now more than ever this attention to quality care is critical.

Our SafeCareProcedures is a comprehensive approach to everyday healthcare that allows your family to receive the services
you need while staying safe.

As we fight on the frontlines of this pandemic, our commitment has never been stronger. We are following CDC guidelines closely and working tirelessly across all CHI locations to keep our patients, families, staff, and providers safe and healthy.

This Plan Includes:

Stay
home as much as you can

KEEP
a safe distance from others.

Wash
your hands often

Cover
your cough

Sick?
call ahead

SAFETY GUIDELINES:

  • Our staff is prescreened before entering the health center every day.
  • Our staff, patients and families must wear masks at all times. If you arrive without a mask, we will provide you with one upon arrival.
  • Our staff follows social distancing practices.
  • Our facilities’ layouts have been adjusted to create safe spaces in patient care areas.
  • We’ve established “wait-less waiting areas” and appointments have been spaced out to minimize contact with other patients.
  • After every patient visit, our staff performs a thorough cleaning of our rooms.

TELEHEALTH SERVICES:

See the doctor from the safety and comfort of your own home! It’s easy, affordable, compassionate, quality healthcare for the whole family.

We now offer telehealth services. You can see the doctor on video or talk to the provider over the telephone for the following services:

PRIMARY CARE

URGENT CARE

PEDIATRICS

OB/GYN

IN-PERSON VISITS, STEP BY STEP:

Before your appointment:

  • You will be asked to pre-register at home to minimize your wait time.
  • If you are not able to pre-register, our facilities follow the social distancing and disinfecting procedures outlined.

The day of your appointment:

  • If you’ve been tested for COVID-19 you must bring a copy of the test results or you will not be allowed to enter the building.
  • If anyone in your household is positive for COVID-19, you will not be allowed into the building.
  • Arrive 10-15 minutes earlier to park and make sure to wear your face mask at all times.
  • Only one guardian or caretaker is permitted per patient.
  • Everyone will be asked COVID-19 screening questions and have their temperature checked.
  • If you have a temperature reading higher than 100F, we will determine if you must be seen by a physician or if your appointment can be rescheduled for a later date.

All CHI centers remain open during this time. We accept most insurance and offer a sliding fee income-based payment scale for uninsured patients.
