Born and raised in Caguas, Puerto Rico, he moved to the Big Apple to attend New York University. He continued as a Hurricane by completing his residency program in 1986 in the Department of Family Medicine. He couldn’t get away from UM, having taught as an associate professor in both academic and clinical positions. He also held several positions while tenured at the Jessie Trice Community Health Center, including Chief Medical Officer of Clinical Affairs.

Dr. Bosa-Osorio’s hobbies and special interests include basketball, landscaping and handyman work.
