Archna Patel, MD

Dr. Archna Patel earned her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal, India. She completed her undergraduate education in India and subsequently pursued three years of Psychiatry Residency training at NIMS University before relocating to the United States to continue her medical career.

Dr. Patel’s passion for psychiatry is deeply rooted in her personal experiences witnessing the mental health challenges faced by loved ones. These experiences reinforced her belief that mental health is equally as important as physical health and inspired her commitment to helping individuals achieve emotional and psychological well-being.

She is particularly drawn to the opportunity to listen closely to patients and understand their unique experiences with nuance, empathy, and respect. For Dr. Patel, the most rewarding aspect of psychiatry is the ability to alleviate suffering among vulnerable populations through compassionate, patient-centered care.
