Saturday, Aug. 1 – School Physical Day

- 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- Prepare your child for the upcoming school year with our affordable back-to-school physicals:
- School physicals: $25
- Sports physicals: $25 + *Required EKG
- *EKGs are completed by a referred outside provider and charged separately by that provider.
We accept most insurance plans. Don’t forget to bring your child’s immunization records!

Family Health & Wellness Fair at Doris Ison Health Center School Physical Day
- Families can also enjoy the Teddy Bear Hospital, where children can bring a sick or injured teddy bear, doll or special toy for “treatment.” The event will also include vision, dental and other health screenings, games, food, family fun and school supplies while supplies last.
Sunday, Aug. 2 – National Health Center Week Launch
- CHI will kick off National Health Center Week with a special video highlighting our programs, services and impact in the communities we serve.
Monday, Aug. 3- Staff Appreciation Day
- CHI will celebrate our compassionate team with gifts, games and wellness stations at each site. Each health center will also have a “You Make a Difference” wall where patients and visitors can share messages of appreciation.
Tuesday, Aug. 4- Patient Appreciation Day
- We will thank patients for the opportunity to care for them. The day will include patient giveaways, wellness stations, quality care feedback stations and more. CHI will also reach out to patients by phone and email to share a sincere thank you.
Wednesday, Aug. 5- Health Conditions Focus Day
- CHI will host separate healthy meal prep demonstrations for adults and kids at the Doris Ison Health Center at 11 a.m. Chefs, a wellness coach, dietitian, nutritionist and psychologist will be on site to share tips for making healthy food choices that are flavorful, practical and visually appealing.
Thursday, Aug. 6- Special Populations Day
- CHI will visit a local farm for a private outreach event offering medical, dental and other health screenings for agricultural workers.
Friday, Aug. 7- Partner Appreciation Day
- We will recognize our community partners by sending them an appreciation gift.
Saturday, Aug. 8- Gratitude and Future Vision
- CHI will close National Health Center Week with a message of gratitude and a look at what is ahead. CHI will launch its vision campaign with a special “Future of CHI” video message from the CEO.
