Dr. Sherlyne Magny earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of Integrative Sciences School of Medicine and holds a Master of Public Health from Walden University. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Florida Atlantic University, where she conducted research as part of the Undergraduate Research and Mentoring Program.
Driven by her passion for understanding the human brain and addressing mental health disparities, she chose psychiatry as her specialty. Throughout her medical education, Dr. Magny has actively engaged in medical student volunteer work in behavioral health clinics and has completed externships in community health settings, fostering her commitment to patient advocacy.
Born and raised in South Florida, she has strong ties to the community and recognizes the importance of cultural sensitivity in delivering patient-centered care. Dr. Magny is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in psychiatry, emphasizing holistic well-being, and advocating for underserved populations.
In addition to her professional pursuits, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching musicals, and exploring her passion for art through painting.
