Yaima Barreiro Delgado, MD

Dr. Yaima Barreiro Delgado earned her medical degree and completed a specialty in nephrology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in Spain. She began her academic journey in Cuba and later transitioned to hands-on roles in the U.S. as a Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) and Medical Assistant, gaining valuable frontline experience. She also served as Adjunct Faculty at a local college, mentoring future healthcare professionals.

With over a decade of experience, Dr. Barreiro provides compassionate, comprehensive care across all stages of life. Her early work with chronically ill patients sparked a passion for integrated, patient-centered care, with a focus on prevention, communication, and building long-term relationships. She has special expertise in managing chronic conditions like hypertension and renal failure.

Dr. Barreiro is committed to making high-quality, evidence-based healthcare accessible to all. She actively supports community health through outreach programs and wellness initiatives. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family, traveling, and staying current with medical advancements.
