Vicente Hernández Reyes, MD

Dr. Vicente Hernández Reyes completed his residency in Psychiatry in 2004. His academic background began at the Vocational Pre-University Institute of Exact
Sciences (IPVCE), a highly demanding institution with a strong focus on science, where he received rigorous training that enabled him to gain admission to the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Matanzas. There, he earned his medical degree in Cuba and deepened his passion for mental health.

Dr. Hernández Reyes interests in Psychiatry sparked at an early age, influenced by his father, who is also a psychiatrist, and by the opportunity to witness firsthand the human value and essential nature of this field. During his residency and subsequent professional practice, he engaged in teaching activities, conducted clinical research, and contributed to scientific publications related to psychiatry.

After immigrating to the United States in 2023, he obtained ECFMG certification by successfully completing all the required examinations for medical residency. Dr.
Hernández Reyes’ strong academic foundation, professional ethics, and deep commitment to psychological well-being motivate him to continue his development within the U.S. healthcare system. This while focusing on community mental health and working with underserved and vulnerable populations.
