Patricia Jazmin Maura Berrios, MD

Dr. Patricia Jazmin Maura Berrios earned a medical degree from University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts and completed undergraduate studies in Molecular Biology at University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras campus.

She was born and raised in Puerto Rico by a large, humble, and loving family who instilled in her the values of selflessness and generosity. Their influence is a big part of why Dr. Maura Berrios actively sought opportunities to volunteer and give back to her community growing up. Her interest in mental health was sparked by the experience of supporting a close family member through their mental illness, which deeply shaped her desire to pursue a career in Psychiatry.

In Dr. Maura Berrios’ free time she enjoys traveling, staying active through fitness and pickleball. She prides herself in pushing herself to do things that are out of her comfort zone.
