As we move through another exciting season at Community Health of South Florida, Inc. (CHI), I am reminded of the incredible impact we can make when we invest in the health and well-being of our communities.
This summer has been filled with meaningful milestones. In June, we proudly celebrated the graduation of our Brodes H. Hartley, Jr. Teaching Health Center residents and welcomed a new class of physicians during our White Coat Ceremony. These dedicated physicians represent the future of healthcare, and we are honored to play a role in preparing them to provide compassionate, high-quality care to the communities that need it most.
August also marks one of our favorite celebrations of the year—National Health Center Week, taking place August 2–8. Throughout the week, we’ll recognize the dedicated staff, patients, partners, and supporters who help advance our mission while hosting activities that give back to the communities we proudly serve. We kick off the celebration with School Physical Day, on August 1, providing families with an opportunity to ensure their children are healthy and ready for the new school year.
As South Florida continues to experience extreme summer heat and frequent heat advisories, I encourage everyone to make their health a priority. Staying hydrated, limiting prolonged exposure to the heat, and keeping up with routine healthcare visits are simple but important ways to protect your well-being.
Whether you need a checkup, preventive care, or ongoing medical services, our team is here to help. Schedule an appointment at your nearest CHI health center and take charge of your health today.
Thank you for being part of the CHI family and for helping us build healthier communities together.
