Toni Lalla Torres, PA

Toni Lalla Torres is an established and highly skilled Physician Assistant treating adult patients at CHI’s Doris Ison Health Center.

She enjoys working with a diverse and underserved population. While she loves providing care to adult patients in family medicine, she is especially passionate about her work with HIV/AIDS patients.

Since 2005, Lalla Torres has been involved in human trafficking initiatives. She has worked closely with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as well as lobbying on Capitol Hill for human rights issues. In 2010, she decided to pursue a career in medicine after having worked with child soldiers in Africa and human trafficking victims in India. Since then, she has been deployed to medical camps in support of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Office of Refugee Resettlement to provide medical care to children who have crossed Southwest Border. Today her passion to serve her community continues as she sits on the board of the Anti-Predator Project, a non-profit dedicated to the fight against human trafficking.
