Josefina Kinsey, DDS

Dr. Josefina Kinsey, DDS, graduated from the University of Havana School of Dentistry in 1987 and later from the University of Miami in 2017 through the Division of Oral Surgery’s General Practice Residency program. She migrated to the United States with her family and resumed her dental career in 2017. Before returning to dental school in Florida, Dr. Kinsey worked as an office manager in the private sector for various dental practices in New York City and Miami.

Before becoming licensed to practice dentistry in Florida, Dr. Kinsey also worked as a dentist abroad on several occasions. She served communities in Jamaica through the nonprofit organization “One Thousand Smiles Project” in partnership with the Sandals Foundation, as well as with Misiones Pax in the Dominican Republic.

Spending quality time with her daughter and family is her greatest joy. Dr. Kinsey also loves gardening and traveling to remote, natural destinations where she can connect with the beauty of the outdoors.

She is a dedicated advocate for planet climate protection and for equal opportunities regardless of race, gender, or social status. Dr. Kinsey believes deeply in treating others the way you wish to be treated—always with kindness, empathy, and respect for those in need.
