Johanne A. Zephir, DO

Dr. Johanne A. Zephir is a board-certified family medicine physician at Community Health of South Florida, Inc (CHI). She received her doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2010 and earned a master’s in public health in 1996. She further advanced her medical training through a residency at Larkin Community Hospital, along with a fellowship in addiction medicine and pain management. Over Dr. Zephir’s career, she has had extensive experience treating patients of all ages from newborn to geriatrics.

She previously served as medical director at a community health center and owned her own private practice, where she also held the role of medical director. Dr. Zephir is an empathetic professional who combines clinical experience, accurate diagnosing, and compassion to meet today’s healthcare challenges. She takes pride in addressing her patient’s needs and providing quality care. Dr. Zephir is as an active member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Association of Family Physicians. Originally from Haiti, she loves her job and enjoys mentoring and training residents and medical students, shaping them into the doctors of tomorrow. When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Zephir enjoys channeling her creativity into interior decoration, gardening, cooking, and baking. Her passion for creating and building extends beyond the medical field, reflecting her love for hands-on, meaningful projects.
