Dr. Shanice M. Mullings, MD

Dr. Shanice Mullings earned a medical degree in MBBS (Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Medicine) at the University of the West Indies Mona, Jamaican in 2018.

Dr. Mullings worked in primary care in Jamaica, serving the socially disenfranchised across the south-east urban communities of Jamaica. Her love for family medicine stems from the opportunity for continuity of care and fostering meaningful relationships. The exposure to a wide variety of cases enhances her problem-solving skills.

Her passion for medicine ignited in high school after she suffered a head injury that occurred during a soccer game. Still on her face, the remnant symbolized by the lambda shaped scar is over her right eye. Despite the challenges, she continued her love for soccer and played for the University team between 2013 and 2018.

Dr. Mullings enjoys travelling, trying new cuisines, walking, watching Netflix and playing soccer. She hopes to pursue a fellowship in sports medicine where she can help young, underprivileged athletes maximize their full potential.
