Dr. Martha R. Perez, MD

Dr. Martha R. Perez is a General Practitioner in the Family Medicine Unit at CHI’s Doris Ison Health Center.

Born in Leon, Nicaragua, she earned her medical degree from the National University of Nicaragua in 1984. From 1984-1986, Dr. Perez worked as a medical provider and director of the Francisco Buitrago Health Center in Managua, Nicaragua. In 1986, she moved to the United States and settled in Miami.

She successfully completed a comprehensive medical review course in 1990 at the University of Miami. In 1992, she received her license as a physician assistant and, in 1994, began working at Community Health of South Florida Inc. Dr. Perez was awarded her medical license in 2000.

She enjoys time with her family, participating in community events, traveling abroad, and keeping healthy and fit with exercise.
