Joining our Board offers a unique chance for individuals committed to fostering a significant impact on the well-being of the South Florida community. Board members play a crucial role in guaranteeing accessible, high-quality and compassionate healthcare for all community members—regardless of whether they have insurance, their age, economic status, or nationality.

YOUR ROLE ON THE BOARD

Expect to:

  • Commit to a 3-year term, with the possibility of serving up to four terms
  • Engage in annual sessions for Board development or strategic planning
  • Explore CHI’s facilities and the array of services and programs we offer within the community
  • Attend at least two meetings every month, including one General Board meeting and one Committee meeting
  • Dedicate 4-6 hours each month to Board activities
  • Contribute to at least one Board Committee

QUALIFICATIONS FOR
BOARD MEMBERSHIP

Addressing pressing healthcare issues in our community has never been more critical. We are seeking passionate individuals who are dedicated to propelling our community healthcare into a promising and healthier future. To be considered for a board position, candidates must:

  • Be at least 18 years old and a current CHI patient or business leader in the community
  • Successfully complete the credentialing process, which may include a background check
  • Follow the Board’s Code of Ethics
  • Sign the annual Conflict of Interest Policy
