Construction of CHI’s future Children’s Crisis Center continues to make significant progress as the building begins to take shape. From SW 216 Street, people can see an exciting milestone, the walls are now going up, marking another important step toward the completion of this transformative project.
Following last year’s steel signing ceremony, construction has advanced steadily. What once consisted primarily of structural steel is now evolving into a facility that reflects CHI’s vision of expanding access to behavioral health services for children and adolescents throughout the community.
The Children’s Crisis Center will provide a safe, supportive environment where children and families experiencing behavioral health crises can receive timely, compassionate care. The facility represents CHI’s ongoing commitment to addressing the growing need for behavioral health services while improving access to high-quality, patient-centered care for some of South Miami Dade’s most vulnerable populations.
As construction continues, each milestone brings CHI one step closer to opening a facility that will have a lasting impact on the lives of children and families for years to come. The community is encouraged to watch the progress as the Children’s Crisis Center continues to rise, serving as a visible reminder of CHI’s mission to build healthier communities through compassionate, comprehensive care.
The walls of the Children’s Crisis Center are now taking shape, CHI continues to move closer to bringing this much-needed resource to the community.
