Fast Pass is the latest feature that will allow smoother, faster scheduling by offering patients earlier appointment options through simple text or email notification.
CHI is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of a new feature called Fast Pass. Beginning in May, Fast Pass will give patients more flexibility and quicker access to care all through a simple text or email.
Fast Pass is a new tool that helps patients move up their appointment dates if something earlier becomes available. It is a digital wait list. If another patient cancels or reschedules, Fast Pass will automatically send a text message offering an earlier time with providers. Patients can choose to accept the new time or keep their current appointment and wait for another offer. This process occurs without the need for staff intervention, ensuring greater efficiency and responsiveness.
Fast Pass will create a smoother experience for both CHI staff and patients. By keeping appointment slots filled and reducing
delays, it will help CHI serve more patients as well and more effectively. It’s part of the organization’s ongoing effort to use smart technology to improve patient experience while making the best use of providers’ time.
“Fast Pass is a win for everyone. It gives patients a quicker path to care and lets us keep our schedules running smoothly without added work for staff,” said Director of Information Technology, Jose Carmona. “This kind of technology brings real value to our entire care system.”
There is no need to sign up; patients should ensure they have their current mobile number and email address on file. Alerts for appointment offers will begin immediately as they become available. CHI is proud to offer this new, convenient way to help patients get care faster and with less hassle.
