Dr. Bertha Ramos Ramierez, MD

Dr. Bertha Ramos Ramirez completed medical school in the Dominican Republic at CETEC University in 1981 and Universidad Central del Este in 1991. She attended Pediatric residency from 1981 to 1984 at Lincoln Hospital in South Bronx, New York City. Dr. Ramos Ramirez was also a neonatal fellow from 1984 to 1986 at Bronx Municipal Hospital Center. She dedicated 30 years of her career to William F. Ryan Community Health Center, a federally qualified health center just like CHI in NYC until her move to Miami in 2023. Born in Cuba in 1960, Dr. Ramos Ramirez moved to Florida to be close to her mother who was 91 years old at the time and her family. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with them. Dr. Ramos Ramirez has an adult son who is a computer scientist and lives in NYC with his wife. In the past year, she has taken swimming and biking seriously and has worked to become a triathlete. She loves to train and has competed in several triathlons. Dr. Ramos Ramirez has also been an avid runner for more than 30 years. More than anything, she loves being a pediatrician and figuring out how to support young people and their families.
